I’m going to cry this turned out so bad. She turned 18 today October 21st 2025. This morning I made delicious cookies and molded a 18 and a heart cookie for her. We’ve been friends since we were five or six years old. I’m buying her some stuffed animals and lps. I botched the cookies so bad I’m really upset with it. At least it tastes good I’m just so disappointed.

you did a good job! if you think the shapes are too misshapen (i would disagree tbh i think they’re fine) you can always just cut them finer with a knife 🙂 <3

I think this is adorable, and the gesture is so sweet. If you really want to give them some life, just buy one of those cookie icing tubes and neatly outline them. Either way, she’s gonna love them.

This is very cute and your friend will love them. It’s better than if they came out perfectly, because it kinda raises the sentimental value of it. If someone made this for me I’d be delighted.
I made my (now ex sadly) a birthday cake last year and it was tiny! It wasn’t meant to be tiny! But the fact I made her a gluten-free cake with dairy free icing was what was important. The fact it was a bit weird made it better.
I see no problem with these and would happily and thankfully demolish them with a tall glass of milk.

Turn the 1 sideways and place it next to the 8. Optional icing placement at the tip of the 1. Sprinkles on the 8 as needed,preferably black sprinkles.
When my best friend was in hospital on her birthday, I took her a chocolate cake i’d made. I had to take it on the train, tube and bus, it took me 2 hours and I dropped it. It was ruined. But you should have seen her face when I showed her; the effort meant everything. She ate a slice and threw it up and the whole occasion is one of our core memories. The effort and thought is what means the world, hopefully it’ll give you a giggle and probably will also still be yummy.

Everyone is right, they are so sweet. You can always try to fetch a tube of icing that is white (or a light color) and try to outline the numbers and heart to make it look for sure that the plan is nailed. Cookies spread 🤷♀️
